Liverpool Sound City will launch on Tuesday 27th May and climax on Friday 30th May with a huge live music event. There will be dozens of other parties and gigs, including an unsigned festival featuring new acts coming into Liverpool from all over the world.
With over 20 venues taking part the choice is incredible, from the legendary Nation to the intimacy of Alma de Cuba, to the hedonism of Barfly, from the resplendent St George’s Hall to the iconic Zanzibar to the basement-based Revolution – and so many others too. Sound City takes in some of the most vibrant, iconic and pulsating environments in the North.
Liverpool Sound City will be creating partnerships with other key festivals and cool labels from all over the world. They will be hosting parties with such festivals as SXSW, Airwaves and legendary labels such as Domino), Moshi Moshi, Because, Deltasonic and many, many more; each showcasing some of their biggest names and rising stars.  | | 
Tuesday May 27th sees Evol hosting an extra special 2 stage event at the Carling Academy, featuring; Hadouken!, Does It Offend You, Yeah?, Crystal Castles, XX Teens, The Ghost Frequency, Team Waterpolo, Indica Ritual and Soft Toy Emergency. Doors 7-11pm
Then the Aftershow Party @ alma De Cuba will have live sets from The Whip and South Central as well as DJ sets from Agents Of Evol, James Rand, Mr Paul and Enable Mr Porn aka Dolls DJs. | | | |  |
