The brand new Dawsons Music Williamson Street store will soon be opening its doors, an uprgrade to more than twice the size of the original Ranelagh Street location. It is home to one of the largest displays of guitars in the UK including a full Taylor dealership, a Martin Heritage Centre, a 5-Star Gibson acoustic dealership and the most comprehensive collection of Fender guitars in the North West. The new store also features several state-of-the-art, interactive experience areas where musicians are able to really get hands-on with the latest instruments and technology. These include a Roland “Planet” area, a Pioneer DJ area, and a special interactive Korg synthesiser display on the first floor as well as a Yamaha “Homeworld” and a Kawai area in the piano department.
The new store has seen Dawsons Liverpool expand its offering with some additional brands too, including Schertler and AER amps, Musicman and Hoffner guitars and basses, Tama and Mapex drums, Sennheiser radio mics and Gretsch “Roots” folk instruments.
To celebrate, on Saturday the 26th of January, Dawsons will be staging a showcase of local artists on the bandstand in Liverpool’s Williamson Square from 12-4pm. This will include performances from Paul Kappa, Rob Vincent, Orange Room and Ally McDonald.
