We are delighted to announce we are working with SK Events to bring a taste of Liverpool's incredible gastronomy to Sound City 2016.

SK Events are event content specialists who have an impressive track record in managing and delivering food, drink and lifestyle elements for large-scale public and private events. They shall bring some of the city’s big name restaurants to the festival site at Liverpool Waters Bramley-Moore Dock, including Chaophraya, Salt Dog Slim's and Bold Street’s popular eatery, Maray along with a wide variety of street food menus - from Greek and Cantonese, to French and Indian, with more to be announced.

Handcrafted Hot Dogs made from scratch, using traditional methods & smoked over English fruitwoods.

Indian Delights:

Best Indian street food served in the North – check out their amazing flavor combinations and twists on traditional dishes.

Chaophraya Liverpool:

Serving Royal Thai cuisine as well as cocktails, Champagne and Prosecco, the Liverpool ONE venue has a great party atmosphere at the weekend.

Mac Shack:

Yorkshire based lads who take the humble Macaroni Cheese & twist it up to stratospheric levels of tastiness with pimped up toppings.

Salt Dog Slim's:

Bringing Greek Street Food to UK festivals for a number of years, with an unmatched reputation for fresh ingredients and flavours


Arguably the best Dim Sum available - Brenda’s Sui Mai is made with high quality ingredients and British Quality Assured Pork.


SK Events have worked with a number of high profile clients, notably alongside top designer Matthew Williamson for the city’s Celebration of Style event and also organised hospitality for the VIP area at BBC Radio ONE’s Big Weekend festival.


The agency has event managed Liverpool Food and Drink Festival for several years, with 2017 marking the event’s 10th anniversary, and have achieved national publicity through their work with Cumbria Tourism, bringing a new food festival, Taste Cumbria to the county following devastating natural disasters.

Last year they launched a Spring sister festival to complement the established September event, which focuses on a wider lifestyle offer with homes, gardens and wellbeing featuring alongside regional food and drink.
