As part of City of Liverpool College's partnership with Sound City, we are delighted to welcome a broad range of students in a variety of roles across the festival and conference.
City of Liverpool College's presence across Sound City+ will see ICT and Art students showcasing apps, games and animations to industry professionals, whilst Journalism and Photography students will be capturing the atmosphere throughout the festival for music publications including GetIntoThis, Purple Revolver and Bido Lito!.. Be sure to check out CoLC's in house record label, Soft Scoop, at the conference with their artist "Hushtones" taking to our Industry Showcase at Sound City+ from 12:30pm.
We are thrilled to invite over 50 Performing Arts students to complete work placements across the festival and Sound City+ conference, allowing them to gain valuable industry focused work experience and make contacts through a range of exciting roles including stage management, sound tech, artist liaison.
This year, City of Liverpool College will take over The Cavern Stage from 12pm on Sunday 29th May. Bands to catch include The Cubes, Niki Kand, Hushtones, Caulfield and Skarksy and Such.
